Simple, colorful. And noisy! Push the Corn Popper across the floor and the little colored balls inside the clear plastic dome bounce and pop. The faster you push it, the more popping you get.

Introduced in 1957 as a toy for young children learning to walk, the idea is about as simple as it gets - push the toy and the rotating wheels make the colored balls bounce around inside the dome. No batteries. No buttons. Just pop, pop, pop as you walk across the floor.

These are almost irresistible to younger children. Once they figure out that pushing it makes all those balls jump around, they want to keep going. And there's no sneaking around the house with a Corn Popper - everybody knows when it's coming.

One nice feature of the Corn Popper is that it really hasn't changed all that much over the years. More than 65 years later, Fisher-Price still sells the same basic push toy: handle, wheels, clear dome and colorful bouncing balls. Sometimes a simple idea is all you need.
